<18> Junhua!!! <18> Y
When I first saw you, I was saying... Hmmm.... wasn't this one of those CO people I saw before way back in time? Ha... then after much asking around I finally realised that... yea you had been in CO and plus plus plus you are also a dizi person! LOL, that was really a pleasant surprise.

It turned out that we really did have an uncanny connection of sorts. Not only did we both study in the Bukit Timah area from sec 1, we were both in chinese music, both in dizi, both joined OAC, both chose OAC over CO, both wore green caps, and both became land chiefs... How much more semblance could we bear?

I remembered how you had to do most of the reporting for my absence during precamps, how you put up with all my nonsense and non-stop blabbering during every single hike, and how you looked when you were tired, angry, happy or............................

toot :) like in the photo (btw we all look toot here)

Ooh... This blog thing is really exciting and novel; kudos to Tracee and Fungg... haha out of point...

I really admired your artistic talent and how you could bring pictures to life... yea especially and very very very so for the IKEA vase ;)

I am also really proud to have you as a fellow landchief. I'm not being an MCP here, but you are really tough and resilient for a girl. You never complained about anything during the recees, hikes and expeditions, albeit falling from the bike innumerbale times. You were also constantly clear and aware of what was going on and also extremely "gung ho" in spirit, especially when we faced the unremitting PE teacher who carefully scrutinised our plan of walking in the dangerous west side of the island; at the same time, we had also faced he who initially questioned our desire for the first ever nightwalk in Bukit Batok Nature Park. Here, I am really proud to have you as my partner.
Time flies very soon, and within a blink of an eye, I am no longer wearing that green cap standing behind you in that terribly straight row, nor am I exploring the haunted crevices and shelters with you on a remote island. I am now sitting before the computer and typing your birthday message:)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUN HUA!

I am really glad to have known you!!! All the best for your Prelims and A' levels! Your proposition of going kayaking and spending the PA voucher is a good one; too bad mine was torn --> but I'll still pay anyway:)

Love, Jingkai
